What documents are required when completing a Mobile Home transaction?
You’ll need most of the same documents to complete a Mobile Home transaction except the REPC, Settlement Statement and Title Commitment. In lieu of a REPC and Settlement Statement you’ll have a “Bill of Sale” and since it’s personal property there will be no Title Commitment issued. Closing can occur at any notary of clients choice. Include all required agency, disclosure and other documents depending on representation, a copy of the Bill of Sale, Title transferring to new owner signed as appropriate. In some jurisdictions you will need a Sheriff to verify the VIN number on the Mobile home.
